Use this to remind yourself of the Negative Automatic Thoughts (NATs) that may be getting in your way. You can save it to Evernote (see File on menu bar in XMind) and see it when you need it, along with the notes. You can learn more about this in Chapter 7, “Get Unstuck and Get Going Again.

This is a variation on the Six Thinking Hats technique from Chapter 5. This one uses the red, black and white hats and one I added, the purple hat. The purple hat represents guilty thoughts, the “must” and “should” thoughts.

This is the mind map for use with the “End Procrastination” technique in Chapter 7, “Get Unstuck and Get Going Again.” It is based on “Explore and Remove Cognitive Distortions” mind map in the same chapter. It is my variation on de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats. I added a purple hat to represent the guilty thoughts (“musts,” “shoulds”).
